Toys

My siblings and I have been going down memory road in recent months, exchanging memories of our childhood, sorting out conflicting memories, and adding to partial ones.

One series of emails was about games we played...and they listed jacks, stick ball, and knock-hockey.

Now, kids for decades have had computers, or toys with computers in them.

Wired reports on a new $199 science toy kit that allows kids to build science hardware and software devices, like a mini Mars Rover!

Even more important that the story, read the comments after the story. It's a great example of how the worst of TalkRadio is alive and well in traditional, but online journalism. Just give them a cardboard box is the advice of one commentator. Right.
