The quote comes from John Archibald's column in The Birmingham News a few weeks ago.
Seems the Speaker is a D.J. in Auburn once a week on Saturday mornings, and favors old school Rock...."Classic" Rock, sweeping aside just about all of the other music that has come since, from Hip Hop to Rap to....
We can presume he was speaking tongue in cheek. His show is on one of the radio stations his company owns in Auburn. Not sure if it is streamed live online or not.
Rep. Hubbard has been in the news because of the ongoing Lee County Grand Jury investigation. The Speaker says it is motivated by politics, though the state is dominated by Republicans and the two legislators who have been indicted are both Republicans. It is unclear how politics could play a part since only the GOP seems to be involved.
