In New York City, a commemoration is scheduled for the anniversary of a war that few people truly remember from personal experience. Guides help explain the events to small crowds of tourists at a museum that has been re-opened for the 100th anniversary of the start of the war.
That may be the experience of our ancestors a century from now, just as most of us today struggle to understand how WWI started 100 years ago.

What is the name of this museum and where is it located?
ReplyDeleteThat would be the WTC 9-11 museum, the one with the controversial gift shop. It was fiction that I was writing, projecting a century into the future to imagine how much people will know about 9-11, the way we seem to know little about WWI.
