Convinced?

Governor Bentley has led the charge NOT to expand Medicaid in  Alabama, even though almost all of the cost will be paid by the Federal Government, and even though it would end up reducing the cost of medical care in the state though preventative measures.

The White house is out with a report about Alabama and the 23 other states not expanding Medicaid, saying they are missing a great opportunity to improve health and health coverage.

Clearly, the Obama Administration has not given up on even GOPBama, and hopes the report will convince the state to expand Medicaid.

  1. As a healthcare professional in Alabama, I can say that hospitals are seriously hurting as a consequence of our Governor's actions. I am really surprised that the hospitals throughout the state have not been able to sway Dr. Bentley. It is remarkable how much pain we are willing to inflict upon ourselves to avoid giving one iota of credit to the (first black) president.
