Sunday Focus: Mysteries ON Earth

Forget traveling to Mars and beyond to solve mysteries, there are enough of them right here on earth. Like a series of huge circles created by unknown peoples in the Middle-East by stacking rocks to create a low wall.
An animal corral? Nope, the walls are too low to keep animals in. Sending signals to the stars? Who knows? The new aerial photos are giving the constructions wide exposure for the first time, and that may help solve the mystery.

Those circles are believe to be two thousand years old, or older.

A more modern mystery was spotted on Google Earth viewers in China:

It is believed the 65' wide lines man-made designs in the desert are used to calibrate spy satellites.
But they didn't have satellites 2,000 years ago when the circles were built. Or did they?
