I'll admit up front that I am not a fan of the word---or the concept. So I was pleased to read about a Samsung ad that refers to people using "selfie sticks" as cave people. Really.
The only negative is the fact that it is an ad for a Samsung phone with a wide-angle lens that will make taking group selfies easier.
What ever happened to asking a stranger, or the waiter, to take a photo? Too intrusive? It forced you to actually talk to another human, especially one you did not know?
Why, there's even an I Hate Selfies "community" on Facebook.
Which I may hate even more than selfies themselves.
