Julian Bond was remembered today at the Civil Rights Memorial in Montgomery, which he helped dedicate during his time as President of The Southern Poverty Law Center. He died at the age of 75 this week. The ceremony was held about the same time that his family scattered his ashes in the Gulf of Mexico.
