National Civil Rights Park? In Birmingham?



     Legislation is being introduced in Congress to create a new National Park...in Birmingham. The theme would be the Civil Rights movement.

     It would encompass several blocks, including the location of a long closed motel where movement leaders stayed and met.

    Let me guess--Sessions and Shelby had nothing to do with this legislation, right?
