Amid all of the debates over debates-----2018 Democratic Nominee for Governor Walt Maddox wants 'em, incumbent Republican Governor Kay Ivey does not-----let me remind folks that Alabama Public Television used to be home to a lot of them.
My friend Sandra Polizos produced many of them, including one I moderated between Democrat Don Siegelman and Republican Bob Riley.
I don't recommend it, but you can watch it even now on CSPAN HERE. I had some gray hair even back then---August 5, 2002---16 years ago!
