Judy

     My taste in music is eclectic, to say the least. There are only a few genres that I avoid completely.

     In my 20's I developed a love for the music of Judy Collins that remains today, and there is a major article about her in The N.Y. Times, including this:

 "At 80, Collins sounds as clear as a spring wending through a field of wildflowers. The ethereal soprano that guided listeners through the 1960s — the “gentle voice amid the strife,” as Life magazine proclaimed on a May 1969 cover — still resonates in 2019."

     I met her once at a private party in Birmingham, though honestly I don't recall how I wrangled an invite, nor what I said in our ten second long "conversation"...but I do know I was star struck.
