Flags at half-staff

  
     In case you were wondering why flags are at half-staff in Alabama today.....

(From the office of the Governor.) Governor Ivey has ordered flags be flown at half-staff on Sunday, December 22, 2019,  for Ensign Joshua Kaleb Watson, who was killed in the line of duty in the tragic shooting at Naval Air Station Pensacola on Friday, December 6, 2019.

      Watson, 23, was a native of Enterprise, Alabama.
       His funeral was yesterday. He will be buried at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.

The flags should be flown at half-staff until sunset on the day of his interment on Sunday, December 22, 2019
