Grammatical Correctness, Just Where You Would Expect it...

I noticed this quote by NPR Vice President Mike Riksen in this story in this morning's NY Times:

“Elimination of federal funding would result in fewer programs, less journalism — especially local journalism — and, eventually, the loss of public radio stations, particularly in rural and economically distressed communities,” Mr. Riksen said.

(One of Tim's pet peeves is the incorrect use of fewer and less, but Mr. Riksen nailed it. Thank you!)
