C-130 Fly-by

     One of the two C-130 aircraft flying over Jackson Hospital in Montgomery this morning

 The C-130 has been a part of the military fleet since the first planes were delivered in 1956! The versatile planes can carry large cargo and personnel. 
    






   














I took this photo in 1970 for a U.S. Army newspaper story about a soldier on a C-130 in Quang Tri, Vietnam. The flight was the first step in his trip back to the Unites States after a year's tour. As I recall, it was difficult for me to get off the plane.
