AMC Theaters -- we may not reopen.

The AMC Theater chain includes one of the two remaining large muti-plexes in Montgomery. The Festival Plaza is on Vaughn Road.

CNN reported this week that even if all restrictions were lifted today, the AMC chain will still face problems:

"...it has "substantial doubt" it can remain in business after closing locations across the globe during the coronavirus pandemic.
"Even if governmental operating restrictions are lifted in certain jurisdictions, distributors may delay the release of new films until such time that operating restrictions are eased more broadly domestically and internationally, which may further limit our operations," the company said.

The only other large multiplex operation in Montgomery is the Chantilly 13, and it too is closed.
While both of those operations have now inadvertently attained non-profit status, the intentionally non-profit Capri Theater is also closed. We've been re-posting their updates and will continue to do so.
