No doubt there will be much bigger stories to report tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3rd, but an interesting footnote to election day will take place at 5:30pm the night before in the tiny town of Clio, perhaps best know as the birthplace of George Wallace.
The Barbour County town of Clio was founded in 1890, but on election day Kenneth Johnson will become the first African-American mayor for the town.
Johnson’s swearing in ceremony is set for November 2nd at 5:30 PM.
