Alabama Photographers Exhibit Opening on Tuesday in Montgomery

 

EVENT: “See It Our Way (2021): The Photographer’s World”

I'm one of the "9" Founding members of this fine art photographers group, and I have a photo in this exhibit opening Tuesday in Montgomery.

The Exhibit:

 

WHERE: Armory Learning Arts Center Art Gallery, Montgomery, AL

WHEN: February 2 - 25, 2021

Twenty-eight Alabama photographers are exhibiting their work at the Anita Folmar Gallery, Armory Learning Arts Center, Montgomery, AL, February 2-24. Admission is free. The exhibit is  presented in partnership with the Arts Council of Montgomery and “9,” a group of local photographers dedicated to producing and promoting fine art photography.

 In addition to the “9,” photographers from four camera clubs will be exhibiting their work. These are the Capital City Camera Club in Montgomery, the Shelby County Camera Club, Trussville Photography Club, and the Shades Valley Camera Club. Each photographer has submitted one image to represent their work.

Photographs in the exhibit include color, black-and-white, and digitally altered prints. Most images will be offered for sale.

The Armory Learning Arts Center Gallery is located at 1018 Madison Ave., Montgomery. Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
