Two Years after Dana Martin Murder---no arrests.

The Montgomery Police Department has opened the first homicide investigation of the year after Dana Martin was shot to death on Sunday. 

Montgomery police and fire rescue medics responded to the 3900 block of Brewer Road about 11 p.m. on Sunday in reference to a vehicle wreck, Capt. Regina Duckett said. 

At the scene, police found Martin, 31, of Hope Hull, with a fatal gunshot wound in a vehicle along the ditch, Duckett said. 

According to Duckett, it appears the shooting occurred near the location of the vehicle, but the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. No arrests have been made, Duckett said.
