State Promotion

 Just Asking....

Why are their state signs on I-85 promoting the "first White House" of the confederacy, though it only was that for less than three months before Richmond Virginia became capitol.

According to Wikipedia, that "Second White House" there---in Richmond--- includes exhibits to counter to confederate orthodoxy:

"Tourist Destination, 1988–present

The White House of the Confederacy remains open for public tours as part of the visitor experience at the American Civil War Museum. Exhibits in the museum currently exist to undermine the Lost Cause of the Confederacy. "

But the question for tourism officials: why are there no signs for the almost two year old EJI *"lynching memorial", which attracts many more visitors (ranked #1) than the confederate white house.

The official name, by the way, is the "The National Memorial for Peace and Justice".
