The Montgomery Advertiser has a story this morning about the 44th biennial Montgomery Art Guild Art Show.
I have two photos accepted into the show.
“I was especially impressed with the ways that many of these artists responded to issues that have been affecting the country over the past year, particularly related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the racial tensions gripping the country," said Dr. Wendy Castenell, the juror for the 44th exhibition. "Ultimately, this underscores the power that art possesses in expressing larger social issues.”
Castenell selected 74 paintings, sculptures, textiles, and works on paper — from 443 entries submitted by 133 artists.
The show is up through August 1st.
