......at least it feels that way.....radar shows the rain moving out, thankfully. And no damage to report in the Montgomery area, so that's good.
Here's a view of the wind and rain yesterday late afternoon. Good sleeping weather! And in the distance, the uncollected garbage, which will have to sit there decomposing till Tuesday, since the late decision to give city workers the day off for Juneteenth apparently didn't allow for any extra pickups. (I support the holiday, but object to the unintended garbage pickup impact.😔)

I spotted this online and wondered if it was referring to Alabama, but I have never heard (or used) the word "upstate" in reference to this state.
A Flash Flood Watch was issued for parts of the Upstate, along and north of I-85, and the southern mountains of WNC through 8 p.m. Sunday.
It was a Georgia site...but it got me wondering
