The first day of the new year continues an extremely warm Winter period in Montgomery!
There's a new record high* of 81 today, just as there were in at least two recent days.
That's prompted some plants to start blooming!
The forecast calls for a return to Winter weather, preceded by storms tonight and tomorrow:

*The official records for Montgomery are taken at the airport, and that location registered a record high today, as did the place I took the above photos, in The Garden District.
