Alabama Capitol Grounds were designed by the firm started by Frederick Law Olmsted.

     He also designed the U.S. Capitol grounds, and New York's Central Park.
    The Alabama capitol building and the grounds are managed by The Alabama Historical Commission, where I am now a part-time tour guide.
