I've posted some photos of the beautiful double cantilevered stairs at the main entrance to the Alabama Capitol Building in Montgomery. See them on my photo pages, HERE.
When I'm not guiding tours, I am sometimes at the desk in front of the building, and have enjoyed the opportunity to admire the design and construction of the stairs....and to talk with visitors from just about everywhere!
