...after President Jimmy Carter's death will pass before the Carter haters attack him and his reputation (presuming they wait that long)?
The former president is in hospice care, at home in Plains, Georgia, spending his last days with his wife of 76 (!) years and their family members. He seems to be at peace, and ready for the end.
The haters will use the sly critique "the best ex-president", and belittle what he did accomplish. If they need a reminder, his biographer, Kai Bird, has published one in today's NY Times. She refers to him this way:
"Mr. Carter remains the most misunderstood president of the last century."
