Food Fantasy

 

 I like the IDEA of Hot Chocolate

more than Hot Chocolate itself.

I can close my eyes and imagine

the warmth

the sweetness

the aroma.

But never the reality.

It sits in my cabinet for months,

till the cold weather is gone,

till next Winter and it is stale,

just in time for my chocolate fantasy 

to return.

In the meantime

I'll have a coffee, please.
