It seems drones will be an important part of the F-35 Fighter Jets that will soon be in the sky over Montgomery.
A squadron of the F-35s is expected to arrive in Montgomery by the end of this year...and an article by the website The Drive indicates many of the new warplanes will fly with drone "partners".
That would call on the pilots to be trained in Montgomery to have even more on their plates as they take part in missions, even if most of the interaction between the F-35s and the drones is electronic and even autonomous.
