Uh, and about the slaves?????

Wilson-Finlay Home at Gainestown, AL (built ca. 1846-1851) - RuralSWAlabama

A plantation is for sale in Alabama, and it's the first time it has been on the market in 50 years.

You can read all about it on the Realty firm handling the sale HERE.

(Note: The website indicates the property is "Under Contract")

Not exactly a shock, but the house was built and owned by a slaveowner:

WILSON, Joshua L., 52 slaves, page 475

Built around 1846, the two-story Greek Revival home has five bedrooms and three bathrooms and is set on 223 acres of property. The home, at the end of a live oak-lined driveway, took five years to complete and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

The real estate agent representing the property is Tim James, son of former Governor Fob James and candidate against Alabama's current Governor, Kay Ivey, in the recent GOP primary.
