Voters in Alabama will chose a mayor one month from now.
Incumbent Steven Reed, Montgomery's first black mayor, is seeking a 2nd term. Three others are challenging him, including two black men and a white man.
It appears, not surprisingly, that the campaigns are forming along racial lines. One piece of evidence is the white candidate's linkd-in webpage has gathered "likes" from 50 people, all of whom appear to be white.
The election is on August 22nd.
