The Washington Post includes a story identifying places with the largest per-centage of federal workers as residents....and OZARK, Alabama is SEVENTH on the list, with 11.7% of the population employed by the Federal Government....2,232 people in all.
That's because the city is adjacent to Fort Novosel, formerly Ft. Rucker.
The name was changed in April because Rucker was a confederate officer.
