Pedestrian Deaths

 The number of pedestrians killed by vehicles in Alabama continues to increase.

A pedestrian was struck and killed by an 18-wheeler in Montgomery this morning on West South Boulevard at the I-65 southbound off ramp.

In 2021 there were 128 pedestrian deaths in Alabama, ranking the state fifteenth in the nation.
