Remembering my Arrival in 'Nam



      When I arrived in 'Nam, in 1970, I knew the name of the place where I was being stationed, but not exactly where it was. A map like the one on the left was posted nearby, so I started searching, from the south where we had landed, and looking upwards.No photo description available.

Eventually, just before ran out of South Vietnam geography, I spotted it: Quang Tri, virtually ON the DMZ.
