Which Alabama city is the most stressed?

Birmingham ranks as the 9th most stressed city in the U.S., scoring 54.09 out of 100 overall. The city ranked 70th in work-related stress, 17th in financial stress, 6th in family stress and 24th in health and safety.

 

 

 

Coming in at No. 13 on the list is Montgomery, with an overall score of 52.79. Montgomery ranked 64th in work-related stress, 11th in financial stress, 45th in family stress and 16th in health and safety.

 

 

Mobile ranked No. 23 overall and stood out for its high level of financial stress, coming in at No. 7 in that category. Huntsville, on the other hand, was much lower on the list, ranking No. 125 overall, but relatively low in several individual stress categories: 171st in work-related stress, 116th in financial stress, 97th in family stress, and 108th in health and safety.
