In its main editorial this morning, The Montgomery Advertiser urges the sides in the fight over the RSA/Old Supreme Court building controversy to take a deep breath and tone down the rhetoric...and then takes sides by proclaiming the RSA is doing the right thing. Already this morning there's one lengthy comment criticising the editorial.
While the need for a meeting of the minds is not in dispute, I do not believe there has been any halt to the work on the old building on Dexter Avenue since opposition became apparent. Dr. Bronner and RSA will likely win this one because Bronner won't back down, and those opposed are probably not anxious to enter into an expensive and lengthy court battle over the issue.
