Next stop on the speaking tour is St. James School in Montgomery early in February. These kids have grown up with computers as omnipresent as Davey Crockett hats were in my childhood.
(In case any of the students are reading this, Davey Crockett hats were wildly popular in the mid to late 1950's because of a TV show about Davey. You had to be there to understand.
Facebook, YouTube, Napster(or is that to passe' to even mention?) Flikr, mpeg downloads and cell phones for their 10th birthday...these are wiz kids when it comes to technology. Newscasts aside, do they even watch TV anymore? I'll ask and report later.
