Post St. James

Thanks to the students and faculty at St. James School for allowing me to go on for almost half an hour about the Media...earlier this week I had heard some horror stories from a friend who substitute teaches (not in Alabama) about disruptive High Schoolers making it impossible for him to maintain order, but the kids today were well behaved and as attentive as you can expect High Schoolers to be on a Friday late morning. We discussed The Media...the so called "Mainstream Media" and the "new" media like Facebook and blogs etc....the bottom line from me was if you write it or record it, you're responsible for it. A kid on YouTube can libel someone just as easily as The New York Times. Be carefull out there!
