With Fidel Castro stepping down as Cuban President, I have to wonder how a post-Castro government will treat Alabama. After all, the state has been openly trading with The Castro Regime for several years. Would an anti-Castro government punish Alabama by awarding lucritive trade pacts to states that stayed away from Cuba? In a Tuscaloosa News article, Alabama Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks is quoted as saying: "We feel like Alabama has positioned itself in a very good situation depending on what transpires with changes." Thats'a pretty big "if".
