I'll leave it to others to decide who did a better job in the Saturday night mega-church joint appearance by presumed presidential nominees John McCain and Barak Obama. But you may have noticed neither the preacher-moderator nor the candidates wore ties. Sure. it's a Saturday night and we all kick back, but I think I'll sell my stock in the tie company. I'm sure there was an agreement in advance that there would be no ties, and that in itself may be a first. Here! Here!
