As you may have read, torrential rainfall caused significant flooding in Montgomery today, including the actual evacuation of the Statehouse. On High Street (which should have been named High Water Street) I came across a couple of vehicles stranded, and the rescue scene that's depicted below:



I'm happy to report both the rescuer and the rescuee were OK, but like almost everyone in the Capitol City today, drenched.
