Great Food! Great Food!

I'm helping out at the three-day Montgomery Greek Food Festival today from 11:00am - 2:00pm, so come on by at lunchtime and grab a plate or two of delicious food from the friendly folks at the city's only Greek Orthodox Church. I'm a semi-honorary Greek-citizen-for-the-day (-:
Come by and try a taste of Greece. Food, gift items, church tours and more. $12 for a meal: choice of lamb, pastichio (Greek lasagna), chicken dinners, Greek-style green beans, Greek salad and roll.
There's a drive-through too, so don't let a little rain get in your way!
Please pass this entry along to friends in Montgomey!
Greek Orthodox Community Center 1721 Mt. Meigs Road Montgomery, AL 36107 Corner of Capitol Pkwy. and Mt. Meigs Road PRICE: $12 PHONE: 334-263-1366
[UPDATE: Yes, the rain too its toll today, but the Festival continues tonight, Friday and Saturday, so stop on by and enjoy!!!!]

  1. I remember years ago - as a child - trying baklava.

I'm not sure if it was at Malbis, or in Montgomery, but I've NEVER forgotten that tasty, sweet delicacy, and it remains one of my favorites to this day!

Now, my adult tastes include octopus... so if there's some available - here I come!
