Oh, I dunno... the magnolias up in north Alabama are doing QUITE WELL!
And, if - God forbid - worse comes to worse, we'll just get out the fishin' poles and walk down to the nearest crick or river and drop a line.
Having caught a stringerful, we'll skin'em (if'n thays cats) and fee-lay 'em, drop 'em in them scrammeled hen eggs (evur had rooster eggs?), dredge 'em through the corn meal, and fry 'em up in the porkfat left ovur frum brekfust.
Mamanem'll have sum collards, turnips and sweet potatoe pie, and mmmmm, mmmm, mmmm! Ain't nuthin' betur!
Now THAT is Southern Living (at least part of it)!
