We all know that there's a lot of monkey business in broadcasting.
ReplyDeleteTim, you look slightly afraid in that picture with the monkey on your shoulder. Afraid you might lose an ear?
ReplyDeleteHere's a funny story. I lived in Montgomery for a while as a teenager. While visiting the zoo monkey exhibit one day I encountered Benji the chimp. I suppose he's dead now (sure hope so anyway...the nasty little bastard).
Anyhoo, all of the other people around me were throwing peanuts and other edibles to Benji. I was not because the sign said not to feed the animals.
Well, Benji took exception to my not feeding him. So, he took a squat, shit in his hand and nailed me square in the face with it. I was cleaning monkey shit out of my nose for a week. Nothing smells quite as rancid as fresh, hot monkey shit...NOTHING!
Fear the monkeys man...fear the monkeys!
I'd say the critter on your shoulder is a lemur, likely a ring-tailed lemur, the diapered on in front is a spider monkey.
ReplyDeleteThe bird is a crane - likely juvenile - and not the Mississippi Sandhill - with a giant tortoise and black panther.
Hey!
There's an idea for a show!
Interview the Black Panthers!
Are they still around?
