Alabama has dug into it's almost empty pockets and come up a Million Dollars to compensate the poor family of a woman killed when a chuck of highway crashed through her car window, killing her.
With state budgets being slashed right and left, any guess how long it will be before this happens again? I suppose it was a year or so ago when I drove on I-59 towards Tennessee and pronounced it Alabama's worst road.
At least the state did the right thing and settled. Poor woman.
