Alabama's rank is two spots worse than the previous year, so despite all of the talk of cutting government waste by the state's congressional delegation, they're finding more and more pork to send home. $51.45 per capita in the 2010 year,according to the report.
What do they mean by "pork?"
ReplyDeleteThe fact that the Feds send money to the states is not, in itself, "pork." For example, we provide valuable research at UAB, host military training in Montgomery and have an active dock in Mobile. Are these to be considered "pork?"
