Maybe it was because of what publications I was reading (or not reading) on Wednesday, but I didn't see or hear a lot of talk about Birmingham-based Regions paying back the TARP money that it borrowed during the economic collapse. But they did.
Of course the media won't report it widely. They prefer to focus on how the "Obama bailout" was a disastrous loss.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, recently ICE rounded up a large number of undocumented immigrants with criminal records. The raids happened simultaneously in all 50 states. I didn't see any mention of this in our local fish-wrapper.
