Since the Andy Griffith show first aired, it has never been off the air. When it was airing in prime time in its first run, I was exactly the same age as Opie. I think that made me pay close attention to anything Andy said to Opie. Of course, everyone has their favorite episodes - quite a treasure that Andy has left us - may he never leave the airwaves!
