Debtors Prison

     A Judge has taken over an Alabama city court system's outsourcing of the collection of court fines. In a harshly worded order, he said he was appalled by the treatment of offenders, likening it to debtors prisons, which went out of favor in the 1800's.  
    Judicial Corrections Services operates in lots of other places too, including in the city of Montgomery.
