USA Today has done a nice job of looking ahead, now that the law has been mostly upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court. Here's their online report on the various stakeholders, and what's ahead in the next few years.
Alabama is one of the states that has done nothing about setting up health insurance exchanges, believing the court would kill the bill. Governor Bentley believes he can now do so with an executive order, but he'll have to hustle, or allow the feds to come in and do it for the state.
