Looks like Issac may be a Category 2 Hurricane by the time it makes landfall...and the track has shifted further West...Mobile, Alabama is in the sights now with a turn to the North and East fully expected after landfall.

The RNC has basically cancelled Day One of their Republican Convention in Tampa because of the storm, though some Alabamians were boasting about "a little rain" not interfering with the gathering to nominate Mitt Romney for president. About 100 Alabama delegates are expected to attend, though a bit later than expected.
And Governor Bentley has opted to stay behind to monitor the storm.
