Amendment # 4

    The Anniston Star has done a thorough job of explaining the complexity of Amendment #4...one of the almost a dozen Constitutional Amendments on the November 6th ballot.
     It was designed to erase racist language from the 1901 Alabama Constitution, the longest and most amended in the world. 
     But race is never simple in our state, as the Star explains.
