     If you take your religious data seriously, you'll want to spend some time with the newest, most expansive study of religious groups in the U.S...all 236 of them!
      The largest Christian denomination in the U.S.? Catholics. Also big and growing fast: Mormons. But there are any number of Christians who firmly believe neither Catholics nor Mormons are really Christians.
     Alabama is the third most christian state....But Utah is first, though I again refer to the large number of supposed Christians who say Mormons are not.
